Day 1: ADDIS ABABA

We pick you up from Addis Ababa and either you take rest or you will go for a City Tour

Day 2: ADDIS ABABA – KOMBOLCHA

You reach Kombolcha, a city and woreda in north-central Ethiopia. Located in the Debub Wollo Zone of the Amhara Region,

Day 3: KOMBOLCHA – LALIBELA

From Kombolcha you start you your journey to Lalibella, a town in the Amhara region of northern Ethiopia known for its distinctive rock-cut churches dating from the 12th and 13th centuries,

Day 4: VISIT LALIBELLA

You visit pilgrimage sites for Coptic Christians. Carved out of rock, the subterranean monoliths include huge Bete Medhane Alem, and cross-shaped Bete Giyorgis.

Day 5: LALIBELA – MEKELE

You reach Mekele, the capital city of the Tigray region, in northern Ethiopia.

Day 6: VISIT DALLOL

You visit Dallol, a locality in the Dallol woreda of northern Ethiopia. Located in Administrative Zone 2 of the Afar Region in the Afar Depression,

Day 7: DALLOL CAMP

You will visit the hottest place in the planet with its cauldron of burning salt, volcanic rock and sulfuric acid

Day 8: TIGRAY CHURCHES

You reach the Gheralta region of Tigray with more than 120 of rock-hewn churches, each with its own unique ancient murals and relics.

Day 9: TIGRAY CHURCHES

You visit monolithic (located in the rock) , semi-monolithic (part of the church is located in the rock, and part on the ground) and rock-hewn (carved out completely from the rock).

Day 10: TIGRAY – KOMBOLCHA

You will again come back to Kombolcha and visit the archeological records of older years

Day 11: KOMBOLCHA – BATI MILE

You will visit Bati, a town in North Central Ethiopia located between Ethiopian Highlands and Great Rift Valley

Day 12: BATI MILE – SEMERA

Visit a new town named Semera on the Awash–Asseb highway in north-east Ethiopia,

Day 13: SEMERA – LAKE AFDERA

Reach the Afdera Lake, a salt water lake located more than 100 meters below sea level

Day 14: VISIT LAKE AFDERA

Visit the hypersaline lake in northern Ethiopia. Located in Administrative Zone 2 of the Afar Region, it is one of the lakes of the Danakil Depression

Day 15: VISIT ERTA ALE VOLCANO

You visit Erta Ale, a continuously active basaltic shield volcano in the Afar Region of northeastern Ethiopia situated in the Afar Depression,

Day 16: VISIT AFDERA

You will again visit Lake Aftera and enjoy many other enjoyments there.

Day 17: VISIT SEMERA

You will visit Semera and spend the whole day for sight seeing

Day 18: VISIT AFAR PEOPLE AND AWASH

You start visiting Afar people inhabiting in the Horn of Africa living in the Afar Region of Ethiopia and in northern Djibouti

Day 19: VISIT AWASH NATIONAL PARK

Visit Awash National Park the country’s best wildlife reserve located in the Rift Valley

Day 20: AWASH – ADDIS ABABA

You move to Addis Ababa and visit churches and ancient buildings there

Day 21: DEPARTURE

Farewell Party and we drop you to the airport for the flight
