Itinerary
Day 1: Addis Ababa
Arrival to Addis Ababa. If time permits, visit historical places in Addis Ababa. Overnight in a hotel
Day 2: Addis Ababa – Awash National Park.
You move to Awash National Park, arguably the country’s best wildlife reserve located in the Rift Valley
Day 3: Awash National Park
In the park you will see two species of baboon — the Anubis and the hamadryas, Lion, leopard, serval, caracal, and wildcat, croco¬dile and hippopotamus splash in the Awash River
Day 4: Awash – Asaita
Asaita also known as Aussa, is a town in north eastern Ethiopia, and the capital of the Afar Region of Ethiopia.This is the starting point from which to explore the salt lakes in the area, Visit the Afar people. Overnight in a small hotel
Day 5: Asaita – Serdo – Lake Aftera
Reach the Afrera Lake, a salt water lake located more than 100 meters below sea level
Day 6: Lake Afrera
Visit the hypersaline lake in northern Ethiopia. Located in Administrative Zone 2 of the Afar Region, it is one of the lakes of the Danakil Depression. Overnight camping
Day 7: Lake Afrera – Serdo – Asaita
Drive back to Serdo and again to Asaita
Day 8: Asaita – Awash
From Asaita you move back again to Awash
Day 9: Awash – Addis Ababa
You reach back to Addis Ababa from Awash
