Day 1 – Addis Ababa → Dire Dawa → Harar
Fly from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa.
Meet your guide at the airport and begin the drive towards Harar through the dry and mountainous landscapes of eastern Ethiopia.
Arrive in Harar and check into your hotel.

Day 2 – Full-Day Harar City Tour

Day 3 – Harar Surroundings & Cultural Experience
Today explore areas around Harar.

Learn more about coffee, khat cultivation and regional farming traditions that play an important role in the economy and daily life of eastern Ethiopia.
Return to Harar in the afternoon for additional time inside the old city.
Overnight: Harar
Day 4 – Harar → Dire Dawa → Addis Ababa
After breakfast, drive back towards Dire Dawa.
Take a short city tour depending on your flight schedule.
Dire Dawa developed as an important railway and commercial centre and has a noticeably different character from nearby Harar.
Visit selected historic areas, markets or railway-related sites before transferring to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
