Jinbar Waterfall

Jinbar Waterfall is one of the classic natural attractions encountered on the trekking route between Sankaber and Geech.

The Jinbar River drops dramatically from the high plateau into the deep gorge below, creating one of the most memorable viewpoints on the western Simien trail.

The waterfall is generally most impressive during and after wetter periods, although the surrounding canyon scenery remains spectacular throughout the trekking season.

Most travellers experience Jinbar Waterfall as part of a 3-day or longer Simien Mountains trek.
