Lomo
Lomo lies along one of the extended trekking routes descending from the high Simien Mountains towards the northern lowlands.
Unlike the well-known Sankaber–Geech–Chenek circuit, the route through Lomo allows trekkers to experience warmer valleys, rural communities and vegetation at much lower elevations.
It is particularly suited to travellers choosing longer Simien expeditions that finish around Adi Arkay rather than returning along the same highland trail.
